This was a gift for my nephew who has multiple developmental delays as well as sensory processing disorder. It was exactly what we wanted! The blanket is high quality, soft, and just the right weight! And it helps so much!! I can’t wait to buy myself one!

Just what I expected
My daughter has battled anxiety most of her life & we suspect an underlying sensory issue where she craves the input rather than being put off by it. Her school guidance counselor recommended a weighted blanket & we found SensaCalm. I got her the lap blanket (as she will likely be using it at school) with the cuddle backing that she can rub for more input & soothing. She loves it. She sits with it often at home & sleeps with it on her chest. She has only just gone back to school today & had it with her but didn't feel the need to take it out today but likes knowing it's handy just in case. The fabric choices are great & the quality is too. I highly recommend this product & may consider a full sized in the future. Thank you!
Loving my weighted lap pad
As an adult who has always crawled under blankets when stressed I realized I would benefit from having some extra weight. I ordered the weighted lap pad and it has been absolutely amazing! I even sleep with it and am getting the best sleep of my life! It's very well made, shipped very quickly, and I like being able to customize it! I will be recommending these to many people and will likely buy a blanket at some point too.
